A Nicholas County sheriff’s deputy has been suspended from the department after being indicted on charges related to child pornography.
A grand jury indicted Jarrod Bennett on 11 counts related to the creation, distribution, and possession of child pornography. He was arrested by U.S. Marshals on Wednesday afternoon.
In a video posted to Facebook, Nicholas County Sheriff William F. Nunley said that Bennett has been suspended from the department and is confident that justice will be served in the case.
