Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) – New River Community and Technical College received an incredibly generous gift from an anonymous donor.
The college was awarded a $25,000 donation to the Wheeler-Smith-Brown Allied Health scholarship.
Dr. Kyle and Ann Fort created the scholarship fund in memory of former colleagues Dr. Robert Wheeler, Dr. Lynn Smith, and Dr. Patrick Brown.
The scholarship helps support allied health students pursuing a certificate or degree at any New River CTC campus.
The anonymous donation increases the fund to $42,272.
