FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – A Smithers man has been charged with sexual assault of a minor.
Brian T. Whittington, a 39-year-old man, was arrested after an investigation into possible sexual abuse of a minor. That investigation began on November 3.
Whittington was charged with sexual abuse in the first degree and sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian, or person in trust.
