Concord Fine Arts and Communication Department to host free concert

The Concord Fine Arts and Communication Department will host a concert on September 27.

Jesse Ratcliff is the director of music for All Saints Episcopal Church in Frederick, Maryland. He is a 2010 graduate of Concord and a Hinton native.

Ratcliff will play the carillon- an instrument that involves 48 bells and weighs 4000 pounds.

The carillon is located on top of Marsh Hall and is one of only one hundred eighty-five in the country.

The concert begins at six p.m. and is free to the public. You should bring a lawn chair or a blanket to sit on.
