SUMMERSVILLE, WV (WOAY) – Students at Summersville Middle School got to see how the night skies work up close, thanks to some help from Carnegie Hall.
Carnegie Hall sent its portable Cosmodome- an inflatable dome showing how the earth’s spin and tilt make it look like the stars and planets in the night sky are moving.
They also show the life cycle of the stars, and how stars helped create the building blocks of life here on earth.
The Cosmodome is available for public and private workshops.
