Business owner joins race for Fayette County commissioner

FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – A Fayette County businessman has announced that he is running for Fayette county commissioner.

Mike Harvey said he entered the race because he believes that there needs to be a priority on the Fayette County community.

He owns The 304 in Fayetteville and has been holding public listening sessions about the county’s future for months. He says he wants to grow the local economy.

“As your commissioner, I am committed to making the growth of our economy my top priority. Together, we can cultivate a thriving community where every individual has the chance to succeed end quote,” Harvey said. “My vision is to not only maintain our economic prosperity but to sustain and, in some cases, restore it. It’s about making a positive impact that helps every member of our community.”
