2023 WVU School of Nursing graduates ace NCLEX exams

Beckley, WV (WOAY) – The West Virginia University School of Nursing program and its 2023 graduates have earned their bragging rights. 

The university announced that the program recently received official results from Mountain Measurements of the New Next-Gen National Council Licensure Examination-RN (NCLEX-RN). 

The NCLEX is the nationwide examination for the licensing of registered nurses.   

Fall 2023 graduates from the Morgantown Bachelor of Science in Nursing, the BS/BA to BSN bridge, and the Keyser BSN programs scored a 100% first-time pass rate.  

This year’s WVU Beckley BSN program graduates achieved a 94% first-time pass rate, an increase of eight percent since last year. 

The benchmark for NCLEX-RN first attempt pass rate is 80% in West Virginia.
