WVU Announces Men’s Basketball Non-Conference Schedule

WOAY – West Virginia men’s basketball will play 13 non-conference games as part of its 2020-21 schedule, as announced Monday by the school.

The Mountaineers’ season opener is November 10 against Fairleigh Dickinson, one of eight games at the WVU Coliseum. Their second game will be the renewal of the Backyard Brawl, with the Pitt Panthers visiting Friday, November 13.

West Virginia will also have several neutral-court matchups next season, including three games at the Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas, along with a game against Purdue in Brooklyn, New York, as part of the Hall of Fame Invitational.

November 17: vs. Stony Brook
November 20: vs. Bowling Green
November 25-27: Three games at Battle 4 Atlantis (Opponents TBD)
December 5 or 6: Big East-Big 12 Battle (Opponent and location TBD)
December 9: vs. Robert Morris
December 13: vs. Purdue (Hall of Fame Invitational in Brooklyn, NY)
December 22: vs. Youngstown State
December 29: vs. Miami University
January 30: Big 12/SEC Challenge (Opponent and location TBD)
