McDowell County, WV (WOAY) – The West Virginia Division of Highways has awarded several million dollars in contracts to fix roads damaged by severe flooding last February.
A press release says that the state is spending roughly $1.5 million on repairs on Panther Mohawk Road, West Virginia Route 83, and Black Diamond Highway in McDowell County.
That money is spread across several projects handled by Geostabilization International and Thaxton Construction Company.
