SUMMERS COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) announces a road closure on CR 1, Lockbridge Road, according to Greg Hylton, District Nine Construction Engineer.
The road will be closed Monday thru Friday’s starting Monday, May 14th from 7:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. and is scheduled to reopen Friday, June 8, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. The closure is necessary to Repair the slip along the roadway.
WVDOH expresses their apologies for the inconvenience this may cause the citizens and guests to the area. Motorists are asked to observe all traffic control signs and devices. Detours will be in place during the closure.
The anticipated completion date for this project is June 8, 2018. However, inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
