WVDNR rolls out new format and locations in ahead Natural Resources Commission Meeting on July 24

West Virginia (WOAY)-The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources is making it easier for folks across the Mountain State to have their voices heard.

The next quarterly meeting of the Natural Resources Commission is set for Thursday, July 24 at 5 p.m.

For the first time ever, the meeting will be simulcast from all six of the WVDNR’s districts

Commissioners and staff will host in-person gatherings in each district to hear public comments and answer questions about hunting, fishing, and wildlife programs.
The meeting will also be livestreamed in view-only mode at youtube.com/@WVcommerce/streams.
District 4 attendees should plan for extra travel time due to construction along Robert C. Byrd Drive in Beckley.

Members of the public who want to address the commission must attend one of the following in-person locations:

  • District 1 – 1110 Railroad St, Farmington, WV 26571
  • District 2 – 1 Depot Street, Romney, WV 26571
  • District 3 – 738 Ward Road, Elkins, WV 26241
  • District 4 – 2006 Robert C Byrd Drive, Beckley, WV 25801
  • District 5 – 112 California Avenue, Charleston, WV 25305
  • District 6 – 76 Conservation Way, Parkersburg, WV 26104
The agenda includes public comment, regulation reviews, and updates on programs like the Ruffed Grouse Management Plan.
