Beckley, WV (WOAY)- The West Virginia Hive is now accepting applications for the Fall Pitch Southern West Virginia Business Idea Competition.
The competition is open to residents and businesses in Fayette, Pocahontas, Mingo, Nicholas, Raleigh, Summers, Mercer, Monroe, Greenbrier, Logan, Webster, and McDowell counties.
The top five entrepreneurs will pitch their ideas in person on November 14 at WVU Tech’s Life Sciences Building.
There will be prizes for first and second place, three honorable mentions, and an audience favorite award.
The top five participants can earn up to 5000 dollars in prizes.
Chosen finalists will be notified on October 25.
The application deadline is Tuesday, October 15, at noon.
