(WOAY) – Gov. Jim Justice has announced that he is closing all schools due to the threat of coronavirus.
This is in effect until further notice.
Gov. Justice says, “We’ve got a monster that is looming, but the monster is not here. Every single one of us believes the monster is coming to some degree.”
Justice says he concluded because he has experience in the school system, usually as a coach.
Justice says that students will be fed and will be checked on, but says closing schools is the right thing to do.
