Temperatures will gradually rise through the 4th of July weekend as sunny skies continue to grace the area. As we continue through the rest of the week, be sure to listen to your body if you are outside for an extended period of time. Heat related illness will still be an issue, especially for those sensitive to the heat. Pay attention to any symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke and take the appropriate precautions if you feel ill.
As the weekend ends, the chances of scattered showers will gradually increase starting on Monday. A few disturbances coming through will weaken a bit, making rainfall and storms less widespread.
