West Virginia State Police to conduct sobriety checkpoint in Greenbrier County on April 24

Fairlea, WV (WOAY) – The West Virginia State Police will hold a sobriety checkpoint in Greenbrier County on Thursday, April 24.

The checkpoint will be on Route 19 in Fairlea from 6:00 pm to midnight.

Officers will be on the lookout for intoxicated drivers, underage drinking, and those driving with invalid licenses.

The purpose of the checkpoint is to discourage driving while under the influence and teach the public about the dangers of drunk driving.
