West Virginia State Police to conduct sobriety checkpoint in Fayette County on September 6

Oak Hill, WV (WOAY)- The West Virginia State Police will conduct a sobriety checkpoint in Fayette County on Friday, September 6. 

The checkpoint will be in Oak Hill, at WV 16, between State Street and Ridgewood Avenue, from 6:00 p.m. to midnight.

The purpose of the checkpoint is to deter impaired drivers and educate the public about the dangers of driving while under the influence.
