The West Virginia Hive program is hosting a networking event called “Coffee Talks” on Aug. 31 in White Sulphur Springs from 9 to 11 a.m. at The Schoolhouse Hotel.
The event is free and the public is encouraged to attend.
During the event, Executive Director of West Virginia Hive Judy Moore will interview James Tuckwiller and Frank Ford, the owners of Mountain Steer Meat Company.
“Our Coffee Talks sessions offer and opportunity for local entrepreuners, business owners, and community leaders to network, learn from, and exchange ideas with one another in an informal gathering,” Moore said. “We hope several from the White Sulphur Springs community and surrounding communities will come out and be part of the conversation.”
Mountain Steer Meat was created during the COVID-19 pandemic to remedy the beef shortage in West Virginia due to supply chain disruptions.

West Virginia Hive is a program by the New River Gorge Regional Development Authority that helps business owners and entrepreneurs find the help they need to succeed.
