West Virginia (WOAY) The West Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles is warning folks about a social media scam circulating.
There is a post displaying the DMV’s logo, stating that West Virginians will need to retake their driver’s exams.
It says that written, skills, and vision tests must be repeated under a vision screening law, and that drivers who do not pass the tests within 30 days will have their licenses suspended.
The post also provides a rollout plan, an official statement, and then contains the word satire at the end.
If you have any questions, contact the DMV at (800)642-9066.
