West Virginia dental offices receives small supply of PPE

WEST VIRGINIA, WV (WOAY) – This week, dental offices across the state were confused when they received an empty box of PPE supplies.

In a partnership between Toyota and the West Virginia National Guard over 10,000 pieces of PPE were supposed to be delivered to local dental offices across the state. According to multiple dental offices, each box contained only 5 masks.

“We got to have enough PPE to able to reopen and if we going to reopen we have to be safe. so you know its this rock and a hard situation and I just wish we could be honest about that struggle. Well this is a struggle so let’s work through this and find solutions,” said Senator Stephen Baldwin.

Baldwin says they are still searching for answers on if the dental offices will receive the remaining PPE supplies.
