CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH Reports) — West Virginia State Police have charged a woman after they say she sexually abused an infant.
“The infant victim was physically helpless and well below the age of 12,” according to court documents.
At the time of the incident, both Thompson and Smith filmed themselves and the baby while engaging in sexual conduct, according to investigators.
Court documents said they have physical evidence, photographic evidence, witness statements and a confession from the defendant.
Thompson was arraigned in Kanawha County Magistrate Court on Wednesday. Her bond was set at $100,000.
