Beckley, WV (WOAY)—West Virginia American Water (WVAW) is accepting applications for its sixth annual bottle-filling station program.
The initiative is aimed at reducing single-use plastic waste.
Through the program, WVAW will provide bottle-filling stations to public facilities within its service areas.
Only non-profit organizations and local government entities can apply for the program.
Additionally, the bottle-filling station must be within American Water’s service territory and open to the public.
Applications must be emailed or postmarked by Monday, September 30.
