PINEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – A woman from Welch is facing drug charges in Wyoming County.
According to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department, deputies stopped a white Hummer on WV Rt. 10 in Pineville for traffic violations earlier this morning. They learned that the registration didn’t belong to the vehicle and had no insurance. Deputies also learned that the driver wasn’t licensed.
Deputies found a quantity of cocaine, marijuana, Xanax, and almost 13,000 dollars in cash. Mary Elizabeth Saunders, 43, from Welch, was arrested for three counts of a controlled substance.
She is currently waiting for arraignment.
