Wednesday Weather Update

Good Wednesday evening, temperature were mild, with highs at 60° today.  A cold front will move in during the overnight and early morning hours on Thursday, which will bring rain showers and gusty winds to the forecast.  Temperatures will drop throughout the day on Thursday, as cold air filters in.  Expect rain to change to snow showers by lunch and temperatures to be near freezing by the afternoon hours.  Our setup for the next 5 days will feature a northwest flow, which will provide continuous snow showers to the forecast. When all is said and down by Monday, expect up to 8” above 4,000 feet. For areas above 3,000 feet you could see up to 5” when all is said and done.  For areas below 3,000 feet you could see a few inches accumulate.  Temperatures through the next 5 days will remain near freezing with overnight lows in the 20’s.
