GLEN JEAN, WV (WOAY) – A Webster Springs man is facing drug charges in Fayette County.
According to Sheriff Mike Fridley, early this morning, a Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputy was conducting traffic enforcement in the Glen Jean area. After doing a vehicle stop, the Deputy saw indications that the occupant may be trafficking narcotics. A subsequent search of the vehicle led to locating a quantity of schedule II narcotic pills, two firearms, and nearly $1,400.00 in US Currency.
Kevin Detamore, 50, of Webster Springs, was arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Narcotics – Schedule II.
He will now await court proceedings.
