Weather Rollercoaster Ahead

WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): The morning saw storms roll through before giving us a break through the night tonight. However, the second around of storms will start to roll in overnight around 5 A.M., brining showers with some strong to severe storms. Our main concerns are heavy rain and damaging winds, though we cannot rule out an isolated spin-up in the area. Meteorologist Christian Boteler has the details:

The storms will continue through the day tomorrow, dying down overnight. Make sure to charge your devices and have food, water, and other supplies ready for the weather in case your power goes out. Monday starts with a lingering shower or two before clearing up to partly cloudy skies and cooler temperatures. Tuesday will be a nicer day with sunnier skies and warmer temperatures returning to the area.

Wednesday starts off nice, continuing where Tuesday left off. However, rain will start again as night falls but Thursday sees lighter showers and cooler temperatures. Rain will change to snow in higher elevations, with precipitation lingering into Friday morning before partly cloudy skies return. The rain doesn’t stop there though, as Saturday will continue the wet trend with more showers strewn across the area. Prepare those rain coats!
