Wanted Oak Hill Man Arrested On Long List Of Charges

OAK HILL, WV (WOAY) – A Fayette County man is in jail on charges stemming from multiple incidents.  Sheriff Mike Fridley released the following information regarding these incidents.

Daemien Thompson, 33 of Oak Hill, was arrested this afternoon upon turning himself in on multiple warrants obtained by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department.

Thompson had an active bench warrant issued by the Circuit Court of Fayette County.  He was also charged with Domestic Battery, Domestic Assault, Burning After Curfew, Destruction of Property and felony Strangulation stemming from a domestic incident that occurred in the Mount Hope area on November 29th. He is also facing a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance from another incident.

Thompson is additionally facing a charge of Terroristic Threats after allegedly making serious threats to a woman from a previous relationship.

Thompson’s bond was set at $10,000, but is being held currently in Southern Regional Jail on the bench warrant.  These incidents remain under investigation by Corporal A.B Hudson, Deputy T.K. Olson and Deputy R.M. Fox of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department.
