Walmart Makes A Donation To Help With Mac’s Toy Fund Bike Drive

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – The Beckley Board of Realtors received a donation from Walmart.

For eight years, the Beckley Board of Realtors has been doing a bike drive in support of Mac’s Toy Fund.

While in the Mac Arthur Walmart one day, the store manager noticed one of the Beckley Board of Realtors members and took an interest in what they were doing.

Presenting a check for $3,000 to the Beckley Board of Realtors to help provide more bikes for their bike drive.

“It’s not what you gather, its how you scatter, that shows how you live your life so it’s a great deal.” Said Patrick Alton, Store Manager of Walmart in Mac Arthur.

“We see what an impact it is to children and how it makes them feel. It’s very special and we want to keep doing it and we want to get as much money as we can, so we can give every kid that wants a bike, one for Christmas.” Said Paige Powers, Community Service Chair for Beckley Board of Realtors.

All the bikes and toys for Mac’s Toy Fund will be given out on December 22nd.
