SUMMERSVILLE, WV (WOAY) – Emergency officials responded to a vehicle accident that sent one person to the hospital.
On Saturday, November 17, 2018, during the early morning hours, Summersville Fire Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Phillips Run Road.
A truck had lost control and went over the embankment and struck a tree. Rescue 21, Engine 21, Chief Snodgress, and Deputy Chief Bell responded.
The patient was extricated from the vehicle and transported by EMS.
