UPDATE: Two Arrested For Shooting In Oak Hill, Police Still Looking For Two More People

UPDATE (6/19/18) OAK HILL, WV (WOAY) –  Two suspects have been arrested for shots being fired in Oak Hill, two still on the run.

Nicholas Plumb of Oak Hill and Ashely Hall of Mossy were arrested on Tuesday afternoon by the Oak Hill Police Department on warrants that were obtained following an initial investigation of shots fired call at the Oak Hill City Park.

After further investigation, the identity of the fourth individual was obtained.  Warrants were issued for Kenneth Batey Jr. through Fayette County Magistrate Court for Wanton Endangerment.  Also, there are outstanding warrants on William Dixon Jr. for Wanton Endangerment on the same incident.

ORIGINAL STORY: (6/18/18) – OAK HILL, WV (WOAY) – The Oak Hill Police Department responded to shots fired in the City Park area this afternoon at around 12:15 pm.

According to the Oak Hill Police Department, officers did find evidence that shots had been fired in the City Park area adjacent to the rail trail.  Several eyewitnesses were interviewed and the city’s video surveillance system showed that the crime had occurred.

Using the surveillance footage, two of the individuals who were present during the shooting was immediately picked up and questioned.

The Oak Hill Police Department is currently obtaining warrants for three of the individuals involved and working to identify a fourth suspect.
