UPDATE: Seven firefighters being treated after battling a fire in Raleigh County

UPDATE: Seven firefighters are being treated at nearby hospitals for heat-related illnesses after battling a fire in Crab Orchard.

CRAB ORCHARD, WV (WOAY) – Multiple fire departments have been battling a fire in Raleigh County.

Witnesses tell WOAY that it is a building behind the Lillian James Center.

Dispatchers tell WOAY that several firefighters were injured and are being treated. The call came in at around 4:19 pm.

All fire departments in Raleigh County were called in to assist, plus fire departments in Boone, Wyoming, Summers, and Fayette were called in to help.
