UPDATE: Fayette Deputies Find Man Involved in Meadow Bridge Altercation

MEADOW BRIDGE.,WV (WOAY) — Deputies have found the second man involved in an altercation involving weapons that happened on Tuesday evening.

Fayette County sheriffs deputies went to Sewell Creek Road in Meadow Bridge Tuesday night after a call came in that two men were fighting.

When deputies arrived, they found Lee Fox on the porch severely beaten and with multiple cuts on his face.

A witness told deputies that Fox and Reggie Redden got into a fight, and Fox allegedly stabbed Redden in the head. He eventually took off. Deputies were searching for Redden through the night on Tuesday, but tell us he has since been found.

At first Sheriff Mike Fridley says, his investigators thought Redden started the fight, but now they’re starting to change their minds.

“The individual that was actually left at the residence, that received some injuries and stuff it’s turning out now that he might not be the victim but the suspect in this.  It could be a turnaround that Mr. Redding was the victim and Fox committed the crime,” Fridley said.

Charges are still pending and no arrest have been made.

Fox is currently at Raleigh General Hospital receiving treatment.
