U.S. Representative Evan Jenkins visited WVU Tech’s campus on Tuesday afternoon.
Representative Jenkins toured the Hive along with the Hive Director Jude Moore and Joe Brouse, the Executive Director of the New River Gorge Regional Development Authority.
The Hive aims to help local entrepreneurs launch and grow successful businesses in southern West Virginia. This project
works to help diversify West Virginia’s economy and expand industries in our state.
“We are really talking about the future of West Virginia’s entrepreneurial element, job skills, and taking great ideas and turning them into a plan that puts people to work and makes money for folks who are really anxious to come and stay and grow and build opportunity in West Virginia,” said Representative Jenkins.
The Hive services 12 counties in southern West Virginia.
