Two Wyoming County Residents Facing Child Neglect Charges

WYOMING COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – Two Wyoming County residents are facing four counts each of Child Neglect Creating Risk of Injury following an incident late Wednesday night in Cyclone.

According to Wyoming County sheriff’s deputies, a sergeant responded to a call about two individuals who had reportedly overdosed and were unresponsive, according to what the male suspect’s mother was told by her granddaughter. When initially asked, the female suspect denied any type of drug use, but she later said both she and the male suspect had snorted heroin.

The male suspect later told the sergeant a third individual had given him drugs in aluminum foil.

Four children were present in the residence during the overdose.

James Todd Mullins and Alice Lanham are both in Southern Regional Jail, each on a $20,000 bail.
