UPDATE: Two Tractor-Trailers Collide On I-64 With Injuries Reported

UPDATE: RALEIGH COUNTY (WOAY) – One eastbound lane of I-64 near mile marker 137 has opened after an accident this afternoon.
RALEIGH COUNTY (WAOY) – Two tractor-trailers collided on I-64 eastbound causing injuries.

Dispatchers tell WOAY News that two tractor-trailers have shut down both lanes on I-64 Eastbound at mile marker 137 near Sandstone Mountain. The call came in around 3pm. Injuries have been reported but it how many injuries or condition is not known at this time.

Raleigh County Sheriff, Ghen Ambulance, Jan-Care Ambulance, Evergreen, and Beaver Fire Department are on the scene.
