Two Taken to Hospital After Shooting in Mercer County

LASHMEET- Two people had to be taken to the hospital and one person is in custody after a shooting on Tuesday night in Lashmeet in Mercer County.

According to dispatch, they received a call about a shooting on Beeson Road around 9:30 PM. The incident was already over by the time authorities arrived. One man was taken to the hospital for a gun shot wound. State Police say he is still alive at this time. They say a younger woman was also taken to the hospital, but not for a gun shot wound.

The suspect is an older male relative of the male victim. He has been taken into custody by state police.
