Two People Charged With Intent to Distribute Heroin

FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – Two people are in jail after being charged with transporting a controlled substance into West Virginia and possession with intent to deliver.

According to Mount Hope Police, Tavon Bagwell and Hillary Jackson, both of Spring Lake, North Carolina, were found to have nine grams of heroin in their possession. Both individuals told police they had obtained the heroin in Michigan, with intent to sell in Fayette County.

Bagwell and Jackson are both charged transporting a controlled substance into the state, possession with intent to deliver, and conspiracy. They are each in Southern Regional Jail.
