Two People Arrested In Oak Hill For Drive-By Shooting

OAK HILL (WOAY) – Oak Hill Police arrested and charged two people for a drive by shooting.

The Oak Hill Police Department tells WOAY that the incident occurred on Sunday, January 28 at around 2:30pm.  Police responded to a call of shots fired in the area of Minden Road.  Once Police arrived on the scene they didn’t immediately find anyone in the area.  Later the officers were able to locate a witness who advised seeing a man fire what appeared to be a handgun at a vehicle while on Minden Road.

While investigating the area the officers talked to the three subjects who advised they were driving in the car and two other subjects had fired a weapon at them while they were driving down Minden Road.

Upon further investigation the officers were able to locate the two suspects.

Officers arrested Jacob Aaron Johnson, 20, from Minden and Angela Nicole Skeens, 19, from Mount Hope.

Both are charged with Wanton Endangerment and placed in the Southern Regional Jail under a 5,ooo dollar bond.
