Two North Carolina men arrested in Fayette County

OAK HILL, WV (WOAY) – Two North Carolina men now face drug charges in Fayette County.

According to Sheriff Mike Fridley, earlier this morning, Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputies received information that provided probable cause for a search warrant to be obtained on a residence on Greenville Road, Oak Hill. During the execution of the search warrant, sales quantities of cocaine and marijuana were found along with US currency, scales, and packaging materials.

Santford M Rucker III 27, of Mount Airy NC, is charged with two felony counts of Possession With Intent to Deliver Narcotics. Henry Scales, 47 of Mount Airy NC, is also charged with two counts of Possession With Intent to Deliver Narcotics.

Scales is also charged with Prohibited Person in Possession of a Firearm. A criminal history check on Scales shows a conviction for Home Invasion/Armed Robbery in Michigan, thus rendering him unable to possess firearms legally.
