Two men arrested on drug charges in McDowell County

PREMIER, WV (WOAY) – Early this morning at around 1:30 a.m., deputies made a traffic stop on US 52 near Premier WV (near Welch) during the stop deputies found a large quantity of Methamphetamine and heroin.

Deputies arrested the following two people: Jerry Jerome McKneely of Omar WV was charged with Possession with intent to deliver a schedule I controlled substance, Possession with intent to deliver a schedule II-controlled substance, Felony Conspiracy and Driving Suspended he was arraigned before Magistrate Steve Cox, and a bond of $56,000 was set.

He was remanded into the McDowell County Holding unit awaiting transport to the Southwestern Regional Jail.

Anthony Rauch of Mingo County WV was charged with Possession with intent to deliver a schedule I controlled substance, Possession with intent to deliver a schedule II-controlled substance, Felony Conspiracy and Driving Suspended he was arraigned before Magistrate Steve Cox, and a bond of $55,000 was set.

He was remanded into the McDowell County Holding unit awaiting transport to the Southwestern Regional Jail.
