Two men arrested after breaking into a home in Princeton

PRINCETON, WV (WOAY) – Two men are facing charges after breaking into a home in Princeton.

According to Sgt. Faris with the Princeton Police Department, a call came in at 9:30 am on Oliver Avenue of two men breaking into a home.  Sgt. Faris was first on the scene and observed two males exiting the back yard.  One male obeyed commands, while the other fled on foot, but was shortly captured.

Jakobi Canterbury is charged with entry in building other than a dwelling and petit larceny.

Cory Cordle is charged with entry in building other than a dwelling, fleeing, obstruction, and petit larceny.

Both men are in Southern Regional Jail, awaiting arraignment.

All the stolen items were recovered.
