Two injured in ATV accident

RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – Two people were injured in an ATV accident early this afternoon.

Dispatchers say the accident happened around 12:30 p.m. on Maple Meadow Mining Road. Two were injured and taken to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is unclear.

Trap Hill and Coal River fire departments responded along with Jan Care and the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office. The scene is not yet cleared.
