OAK HILL, WV (WOAY) – Two people are facing drug charges after police find heroin, cocaine, and several other drug paraphernalia in the car.

On Tuesday, September 18, 2018, police stopped a vehicle for a brake light out. Police noticed the driver, Jamie Thacker, eyes to be glassy and had constricted pupils.  After searching Mr. Thacker a small folded piece of paper containing a brown powder later identified as heroin was found in his wallet.

Thacker and the passenger of the vehicle, Mary Billings, stated that there were no weapons or narcotics in the vehicle.  Police found a pink box in the floor behind Billings that contained syringes, a spoon, baggies, and folded paper.   Three bags contained a brown powder substance of heroin and cocaine.  Pre-paid credit cards were also found along with SD cards containing several pictures of Ms. Billing on it.

Thacker and Billings were arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.  Thacker is out on bond and Mary Billings is still in jail on a 40,000 dollar bond.
