Two Arrested in Fayette County After Narcotics Investigation

MONTGOMERY,WV (WOAY)- Two people were arrested after a narcotics investigation in Fayette County.

According to the sheriff’s dept., Abotche Syndar Williams and Tia Marie Woods are charged with two felony counts of Possession with Intent to Deliver Narcotics.

This all comes after a lengthy investigation involving controlled purchases of narcotics at a home located on 4th ave., in Montgomery.

Upon searching the home deputies found a large quantity of a white powder substance consistent with cocaine,  a quantity of green vegetation consistent with marijuana,  scales and a loaded handgun.

Both the Central West Virginia Drug Task Force and Fayette County Special Response Team conducted the investigation.

Williams and Woods both failed to post the $75,000 bond set by the Fayette County Magistrate’s Office and were remanded to the Southern Regional Jail.
