Trump Returns To WV To Rally For Patrick Morrisey

CHARLESTON, WV — (WOAY) Today, the Donald J. Trump for President campaign announced that President Trump will be returning to West Virginia for his second campaign rally for Attorney General Patrick Morrisey on Saturday, September 29 in Wheeling, WV at the WesBanco Arena.

“It is truly an honor to have President Trump back in West Virginia rallying for our campaign for U.S. Senate,” said Attorney General Patrick Morrisey. “Like West Virginians from across the state, President Trump knows we need a conservative fighter in the U.S. Senate who will be an ally for the Make America Great Again agenda.”

Morrisey continued: “Trump knows there is a clear contrast in this race, as lying liberal Joe Manchin has worked against the President by supporting Hillary Clinton, and voting with radical liberal obstructionists like Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, and Maxine Waters.”

President Trump campaigned for Attorney General Patrick Morrisey in August at a rally in Charleston, WV. During the August 21 rally, President Trump praised Morrisey, saying“a vote for Patrick Morrisey is truly a vote to make America great again.” Trump criticized Joe Manchin at the August rally when he said: “Joe’s just not voting with us. He’s voting against your tax cuts, he voted against repeal and replace, he votes against the things that we want. And he votes against the people of West Virginia.”

The West Virginia Senate race continues to be one of the most competitive in the country and recent polling shows Trump’s engagement in the contest will play a more significant impact here than anywhere else in the country. President Trump’s commitment to electing a strong Republican ally from West Virginia is just the latest indicator that Patrick Morrisey has the momentum in this campaign.
