Traveling May Be More Expensive With Gas Prices Rising

WEST VIRGINIA, (WOAY)-  You may want to think twice about driving to your vacation spot as this summer is predicted to be the most expensive gas has been in years.

 

This is due to crude oil prices being at the highest level in more than three years and expected to climb even higher pushing gas prices along the way.

 

The U.S. daily national average for regular gasoline is now $2.81 per gallon. This is up $2.39 per gallon from a year ago.

 

Across the U.S. thirteen percent of gas stations are charging $3.00 per gallon or more.
