Traffic stop turns into drug bust

PRINCETON, WV (WOAY) – Police made a drug arrest during a traffic stop over the weekend.

On Sunday, a Princeton Police officer pulled a vehicle over on Cook Street. The drive, Aubrey Gore, fled on foot before being caught after a short pursuit.

After further investigation, authorities found 48 grams of meth, 56 grams of crack cocaine, 25 grams of powder cocaine and $1,728 in cash.

Gore was arrested for possession with intent to distribute narcotics and other traffic-related charges.
