Town Of Mullens Elects First Female Mayor & First Female Commissioner

MULLENS, WV (WOAY) – The town of Mullens elected their first female Mayor on Tuesday, June 12, 2018.

Jenny Ann Calhoun Lusk was elected as the first female Mayor of the Town of Mullens.

Lusk captured 263 votes and her opponent Reece Neely had 207 votes.

John McKinney, current Mayor, did not run for re-election

Four County Commissioners were also elected; including the first female commissioner.

Votes are as follows:

Winner- Nathan England – 291 votes
                David Cox – 250 votes
                Alan Mills – 244 votes
                Christy Seaton – 242 votes
Lewis Arnold – 218 votes
Willie Catron – 217 votes
James Gibson – 159 votes
Jeff Bailey – 159 votes
