Tim Epling outlines summer plans for Epling Stadium

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – The 2020 Prospect League season has been canceled, but West Virginia Miners manager Tim Epling is making plans to have baseball in some form at Epling Stadium this summer.

Epling is currently finalizing plans to have area high school and middle schools play at the stadium over the summer months, believing it will be a positive for both the teams and the communities.

Epling Stadium is no stranger to high school baseball; the facility has hosted regular-season and postseason games in recent years, especially in instances when poor weather has been involved. Tim Epling plans to have high school teams begin play later this month.
