UPDATE: (6/18/18) FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – Three people have been arrested for an armed robbery that occurred at the Comac Store in Fayetteville on May 1, 2018.
Three subjects have been arrested following an extensive joint investigation between the Fayetteville Police Department, Fayette County Sheriff’s Department, and the Pennsylvania State Police.
After viewing video surveillance from the Comac Convenience Store as well as other footage obtained from area businesses, residences, and highway camera systems it was determined that there were two masked males that entered the store with a tire iron, demanded money and threatened the life of the store clerk. After committing the alleged crime of Armed Robbery they exited to the back of the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
These subjects then entered an awaiting vehicle driven by the third subject and fled the area.
The investigation resulted in the arrest of Corey Allen McCartney, William Edward Guy, and Silvestre Sales Perez. Based on warrants issued by the State of West Virginia the Pennsylvania State Police located and arrested McCartney and Perez. After their arrest, William Guy turned himself into the City of Washington Police Department in Pennsylvania.
All three subjects are currently being held in Pennsylvania pending extradition back to West Virginia.

Fayetteville, WV (WOAY)- A robbery occurred early Tuesday morning at the Comac on Elliots Way in Fayetteville.
Fayetteville Police Department told WOAY that they a Fayetteville Police along with K-9s arrived on scene.
Details are limited at this time but no injuries did occur.
We do know police are looking for two suspects but the identity has not been released.
