BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – The Summit Kollective is a movement dedicated to growth, collaboration, and empowerment.
It provides a space where folks can connect, learn, and elevate together.
Youth and adults who are poverty-stricken, have learning disabilities, or face life struggles can benefit.
“We have very impressionable youth who can fall into the wrong hands if they’re steered in that direction,” said Executive Director Donald Burton. “Just trying to steer them in the right direction and not forget about the adults.”
According to Burton, adults who need help and could use motivation to get back in the workforce and help their communities.
“Spread the word so we can reach not just Raleigh County, but all over the state, hopefully,” the Executive Director said. “That’s our goal, to do anything we can with the volunteers we have. It shows that volunteerism does help and means something.”
